Tell the chamber: stop obstructing pro-worker policies

One of the greatest myths about pro-worker policies like the minimum wage, paid sick leave, and fair scheduling is that they would harm businesses. The Chamber of Commerce, the National Retail Association, and the National Restaurant Federation claim that these policies will slow job growth and cause businesses to lay off employees.

This week, The Washington Post exposed leaked documents that show an overwhelming majority of business executives support policies that benefit low-wage workers:

  • 80% support raising the minimum wage
  • 73% support expanding paid sick leave
  • 78% support scheduling policies that would provide more stability

So why does the Chamber of Commerce train businesses to fight these policies?

Sign our petition now to tell the Chamber of Commerce to stop obstructing higher wages, paid time off, and fair scheduling for millions of low-wage, hourly workers!
